How the match is made
Every weather station carries a thirty-year monthly temperature normal, twelve numbers that trace its year from January cold to July warmth. We compare your station's twelve months against every other station and rank them by how small the average monthly difference is. The closest is your twin. The match is on temperature alone, so a true twin will usually still differ in rainfall, wind, and humidity, but its rhythm of seasons will feel like home.
