    Walk the trails

    Backus Woods

    One of the largest old-growth Carolinian forests left in Canada, with tulip trees, sassafras, and flowering dogwood over a network of flat trails and boardwalk. Quiet and shaded, a gentle morning walk and some of the best birding in Ontario.

    Bobbi's Deli 'N Such

    A counter deli on King Street in the heart of Delhi. Meats sliced to order, including the local D&J Sausage Factory bolognas, Springbank cheddars, and fresh sourdough. Grab the chicken alfredo for lunch, or have them box a charcuterie board to take to the next stop.

    A bit of history

    Norfolk Carillon Tower

    A war-memorial carillon tower in Simcoe, raised to honour Norfolk County's fallen, its bells carrying across the park around it. A short, quiet stop to stretch the legs on the way home.
