Livestock Gestation Calculator
Pick the species and breeding date to estimate the due date and the early-to-late watch window.
Planning estimate only. Individual animals vary by breed, age, twins, and health. Consult a veterinarian for breeding management.
Adjust gestation length
How the date is calculated
The expected due date is the breeding date plus the species default gestation length. The watch window uses the source range for that species, so cattle use 279 to 290 days, goats use 147 to 153 days, and rabbits use 28 to 35 days.
